I took some of my lambskin and decided to back my silver fox tail with it, as it will be worn as a part of my costume for the ren fair. I’ve had tails break on me while out due to how thin the leather is so this would make it be much more secure. Then I decided to do this to 6 other of my personal tails too (and also add a leather strap for hanging) so they hold up better down the line and in case I decide I ever want to wear one of them later. Also trying to take the twist out of them as I personally prefer my tails to look more natural. They don’t actually look that bad from the back either, I was just pushing their fur out of the way so the backing could be seen a bitIts a pretty good idea and the glue I use is very safe to handle, waterproof, strong, and remains perfectly flexible after drying (plus can be easily cleaned out of the fur with some alcohol if I mess up) so I will definitely be doing this to any future tails I get in so they can last longerTails: silver, marble, cross, arctic, burgundy(?)- coyote, kit fox. I have a few more but some of my furs are still packed away from the move coyotequeen:
